Quad Learning is excited to announce that Catherine Ng has joined as VP of Global Partnerships and International Student Recruitment, effective 6 December 2017.
Catherine is a passionate and dynamic senior executive with over 15 years of experience in the global education and training arena. She brings extensive experience in leading business planning, organizational development, finance and people management. Catherine is particularly skilled in areas of institutional collaboration and working with business partners around the world.
Catherine joins us from Navitas Limited, where she has worked for the past three years as the Country Director, China. Prior to this, Catherine worked in various senior management roles with Box Hill Institute, Victoria University of Victoria, William Angliss Institute, City of Melbourne and across a wide range of industries including small and large enterprises in the private (SME; publicly listed), public as well as not-for-profit sectors.
A native speaker of Cantonese and English, Catherine is also fluent in Mandarin. She is culturally astute with a strong understanding of the business practices in diverse countries backed up by an excellent network of business relationships.
Catherine is experienced in doing business globally: ASEAN member countries (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore Thailand, Vietnam), Bahrain, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Kuwait, Korea, Latin America, Macao, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Timor Leste and UAE.
In her role as VP of Global Partnerships and International Student Recruitment, Catherine will lead QL’s efforts in developing and executing QL’s global partnerships and student recruitment strategy and implementing innovative approaches to successfully targeting and enrolling international students seeking university degrees in the United States.
The scope of her role includes, but is not limited to, implementing and driving strategies to leverage QL’s network of overseas recruitment representatives, managing regional recruitment teams and directly supporting recruitment partners and various channels and driving enrollment growth in QL programs.
