About the Role:

The Marketing Associate supports the marketing department in the marketing of our American Honors and American Success programs, as well as in support of our recent partnership with the University of Arizona.  Contributions will include the development of marketing and sales collaterals in digital and print channels, content/creative development, and campaign support  to help support our international and domestic recruiting efforts.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Under the direction of Senior Director of Marketing and student experience staff, the Marketing Associate will:

  • Assist in content marketing efforts through research, outreach, and development of new content items for domestic and international stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with marketing, recruiting, program, and sales teams to develop and deploy marketing collaterals in digital and print channels.

  • Update and manage existing website content for student stories, PR/media news, profiles, events, and program information.

  • Create content for paid social campaigns to raise awareness and help domestic recruiting efforts

  • Build and monitor community engagement on Facebook across our country pages (Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc.)

  • This is a for-credit internship experience for a marketing major at the MBA level, advanced undergraduate students will also be considered.


Education and Experience:  Rising senior or MBA students with solid marketing and/or writing experience.

Language Skills:  This position requires the ability to read, write, analyze and interpret complex instructions, and/or technical documents.  This position also requires the ability to respond effectively to stakeholders, employees and management and handle sensitive and/or confidential communications.  This position also requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a knack for turning program features into marketing value propositions for domestic and international markets.

Technical Skills:  Advanced computer skills including MS Powerpoint, MS Excel and Adobe InDesign suite required.
